The more I research, the more I find total #$%&^(*)$%^ confusion about
plant species between languages.

May I start on a rant about complete communication collapse between
colonizers trying to examine, exploit and quantify the plant species
in their conquered territories, as expressed through the interface in
the dialogue between indigenous person who's being asked "what is
this" and what the colonial/purchaser observer writes down?
