The first time I hennaed my hair, I did a strand test with the light
mountain bright red, and the actual color result was bright orange.
The bright red lm henna should be labled bright orange, or maybe it
was just that one box? The plain red lm seems to be much less
orangey and more of a natural red or auburn if you compare the two
together. BTW,If you have very long hair that requires a large
amount of henna and use light mountain henna, you will likely have
a clog in the tub every time. Time to get out the draino! I think lm
henna might be cut with some % of sand. I am fairly certain that
100% henna does not make a scratching sound when rubbed against
glass. I could be wrong. Perhaps it is a clue when they say to "add
water until the mixture is creamy yet sandy."
