How red....

can a dark brunette get? I have a friend interested in hennaing.
She has dark brown hair like I have described for myself in previous
posts. She's not decided just WHAT she wants to do yet. (She's
thought about black as well) Just curious...how red can she get? I
know it'll build up after repeated applications and thus create a
redder red...but to start..how red? And how many more applications
to get really red?

I'll have to talk to her again, see if I can get a better idea
of 'how red is red' for her.

But if anyone has experience w/dark brown going RED, would ya mind
filling me in on what ya did?
