How to make indigo last longer

Is there any way to make indigo last longer on hair.

My indigo (cedarvale) seems to wash out in about two weeks, but the
henna stays on. Could something be added to the indigo?

Given henna takes a day or so to get the full color, would it yield
better results to apply indigo a day after applying henna?
