There are other things sold under the name of neutral/colorless/white henna. Want to get more confused? Senna is frequently sold as neutral henna. but what is Senna? Could be Cassia Obvata, Cassia Alata, or Cassia Angustifolia, Cassia Acutifolia, Alexandrian Senna, Tinnevelly Senna ...... leaves or pods.............. Then the fun starts. Try to research these and hardly any two papers seem to agree on which plant is going under which name! Hang around this site, I'm trying to sort out the information and get it up for folks!
