: Just an addendum to my previous post about the smell of my hair.
First, I think the smell of henna is wonderful...fresh, vegetal,
grassy, natural. I added freshly ground cloves and red wine, lemon
juice, and a few drops of vetiver EO. I blend and manufacture
perfumes with natural essential oils exclusively so I have many to
choose from whenever I rehenna.!!! ( I never use fragrance oils )
I've noticed some posts mentioning using teatree and other Eos, and
would like to remind them to do a test for sensitivity first.( a dab
on the skin of the neck, behind the ear) Its my belief that EOs are
safer than synjtheticly manufactured fragrance oils, but the
possibility of an alergic reaction is still possible. It would be a
shame to get a headfull of henna going and have a reaction to an
added ingredient.
Oh, and Catherine, my hair looks darker to me today...Is this my
imagination or did it darken a bit over night. Gosh it looks great!!!
Thank you so much!!!
