update: henna w/indigo and grey hairPosted by elektra on April 7, 2004 at 05:26:59: last night i experimented with some leftover henna (stored in thefridge though) and threw in about 60% of the herbal indigo henna. my impression: mixing henna with more than 40% indigo/herbal indigo henna is bad for covering greys, because for that you'd need the full power of good henna, indigo might be to weak. the colour is ok, rather beautiful on the rest, but not not very good on the greys. it was a last-minute dyeing, mainly to cover the greys _now_. their not grey anymore, but light brownish w/blonde. not bad, but not what i am (used to as a result and) looking for. i'm looking forward to using catherines henna next time, but i won't be using more than 40% indigo again then, i think, not in a 1-step-process.. elektra
