You may want to try REAL henna - fresh, body art quality henna -
which will give you deeper colour and healthier hair with each
application, which is so much better than dye. The bleached ends are
much more porous than the roots, so the henna will saturate them
better - the colour just may deepen in just a few applications. Just
my opinion...It's just SO much better to henna than dye...

: Yes, a friend of mine has used L'oreal Casting ColorSpa semi-
: permanent dye over henna'd hair. She did it 3-4 days after the
: henna. PLEASE do a strand test first, however...it's never the
same
: from one person to the next.

:
: : I used the pre-mixes of henna and indigo without much success--
: never
: : saw too much difference in color after a couple of washings--and
: now
: : I am planning to use a semi-permanent color (I know, yucky
: : chemicals!). I would love to use some high quality henna in the
: : future, but at this point transluscent dyes won't help me, as I
: have
: : bleached ends and dark roots. Anyway, I know everything says
not
: to
: : use chemicals over henna, and I will definitely do a test on
some
: : sample hair first, but I am just hoping to hear that someone has
: done
: : this, or heard of it being done with some success.
: : Thnx
