I have sections of my hair that have been bleached and dyed blue
(Punky Color Professional), and sections that have only blue dye on
them. I did a strand test with henna and the bleached parts turned
a nasty green-brown, and the blue/natural parts turned a swampy
green black. I also took a strand of hair that had no dye in it,
and colored it with henna. It was slighty reddish/brown (I have
dark brown hair.) Then I put blue dye on it, just to see what
happens. It's even uglier, although the dye doesn't seem to stain
as much. I wouldn't add blue dye until you cut off all the hennaed
hair. If I do another strand test I'll try to take a picture of
what it looks like.
