Body art quality henna is finer and fresher and higher quality. What
your store sells will probably not do much to your skin, and will
probably not be worth the trouble after all of the sifting and
straining you'll need to do in order to make it fine enough for your
applicator. Most of the time, even henna that is labeled as henna
for skin --that has been sitting on a store shelf-- is not fresh
enough, nor has been stored at the proper conditions, to be of much
use as body art henna. The time and heart involved in making mehndi
designs on your skin makes it very frustrating when your henna paste
is garbage. Go to hennapage.com and get a sample from Catherine, or
order some from the suppliers page that is on that site, they will
DEFINATELY get you the stuff you need.
Have a great time with it!
Deborah
