Fia, question about CO and hennaed hairPosted by Diane on April 20, 2004 at 16:29:08: Hi Fia,I don't see you post too often here and I was delighted to see your name today, I read in one of your old posts that you have done a CO routine from time to time and I wanted to ask you if you've ever had a problem with loss of colour? I do CO and I would normally include an oil treatment at least every 2 weeks (its sometimes less as its hard to find the time with a new baby) but coincidentally just as I was thinking about doing it, I see recent posts about removing henna colour with oil rx's. Faery Ring posted that she thinks certain oils and deep rx can remove a bit of the dye. I know I can reapply henna in a few weeks time, I'm only paranoid about the type of fading that would result in a really brassy orange look (I hennaed over red hair and a good percentage of the lighter hairs took up a kind of orangey colour to begin with). I want to do my usual thing but as I said, I am paranoid about deliberately stripping any of the colour. What do you think? Does it do that at all? Thanks in advance!
