if you use good body art quality henna, you will get much better
results on covering grays (promise ;). also, try adding (grounded)
cloves to the henna and red wine to the water. tea tree oil also
helps. and keep it wrapped up warm on the head for at least 4 hrs (the
body temperature will help to keep the warmth and push dye release).
if you're looking for a "lesser red, more brown", you could add coffee
or walnut (i'm allergic to this) or up to 30% indigo / "black" henna.
take a look at the mixes site, esp. fia's , pierre's or mine and do
