Hi, I lurked in your website all last week, anguishing over a
decision to henna my greying hair. I have never colored my hair and
only recently considered the possibility. Well, I am so DELIGHTED by
the results that I feel the desire to post my experience and perhaps
allay the fears of other men who are deciding about using henna.
Stats: 52yo male, fine brown hair, cut short, widely spaced
follicles, about 25% patchy and mixed-in grey, front hairline
marching rearward each year! I used the 2-step Light Mountain henna
product for medium brown. Result: Nice brown hair with mildy golden-
brown highlights. No scalp discoloration (after shampooing). My hair
actually feels coarser, thicker. Haystack smell is mild, but I will
mix in some cloves or coffee next time. I agree... don't, don't use
the bad chemical dyes if you can at all avoid it. I'm a conservative
guy in the healthcare profession, so I was a bit worried... but I
look great and feel wonderful! Good luck to you all, and thank you
