can you henna your hair twoce in 24 hours?

i tried to henna my hair this morning- i followed the directions from
reverend bunny, but my hair color has only changed a tiny bit. it's
hardly noticeable. i'd like to try again, this time with all fresh
paste, instead of half freezer-paste. can i do that? should i wait?
is there something in my shampoo that's a problem? any advice would
be greatly appreciated...
