: : with the 2 step process to mask white hairs, first henna then, a

: : indigo application, what would the results be? of course, i
wouldn't
: : try it on my mom's hair, she'd kill me, but if someone could
satisfy
: : my curiosity.... I imagine drying of the hair, but are there any
: : other disasters i should know of?
: if you use only indigo on white hair, the result is blue hair. I
tried it out once on a
: bleached strand out of curiosity, and it turned out sky blue. if
you use henna + indigo
: right away, without using pure henna first, that should work just
fine. if the
: proportion of indigo is too large, it will turn a dark grey though,
with a blue/green
: cast (tried that too).

*perks up* Next school year (when I don't have Irish dance
competitions, where they might frown on blue hair), when I re-
highlight my hair, I might bleach out a couple strands entirely, and
try indigo. It'll have a lot of henna buildup so it probably won't
work (yay for test strands), but if I could get blue streaks, to go
with my copper, that would rock!
