Golden Highlights on Brown/Silver Hair?

Hi, Everyone! Happy to find this site dedicated to natural and
healthy beauty! I used henna on my dark brown, fine, shiny hair when
I was younger and loved it. Now I am 51, and my hair (the final 6
inches of roots)is maybe 20% silver. My new husband, like many men,
would like blond, so I tried colorweaving/bleaching my natural color
with honey blonde about a year ago to hide the silver. He really
liked the color, but I hated how unshiny and broken my hair looked,
and I didn't like drenching my head in nasty chemicals, so now I am
growing it out, and trying to figure out a natural way to get an
attractive color. He does not like orange. I really like orange,
but do agree it doesn't look so great with my rosy complexion. Does
anyone with brown/silver fine hair have experience using cammomile,
tumeric, black tea, or any other herbal ingredient with Mountain
Light Neutral Henna (or any other brand of neutral henna)to cover
gray and get golden not orange highlights? Any tales of experience
would be greatly appreciated!
