question about Light Mountain henna in "auburn"Posted by Shirasaya on May 7, 2004 at 06:36:19: I'm wondering if anyone here has used Light Mountain Auburn shadehenna; I've read several positive posts about Light Mountain brand hennas. I'm interested in achieving an Irish setter to auburn shade of red with henna and have added cloves, but so far the henna has simply turned my hair redder, not as dark as I'd like. I understand that with repeated henna-ings the color will deepen, but I'd prefer to achieve the shade I want in just one more application instead of having to wait several applications, or having to guess how much of what else to add to the henna in a hit or miss kind of thing. My natural hair color is a gingery to medium red and it's turned a brighter (though not glaring) red after hennaing it with a good dose of cloves. Does anyone know what Light Mountain is adding to their henna or how they can offer various "shades" of henna dye?
