I can imagine how you feel. I'm sure it is upsetting, and it is such
a pity you didn't find this site before you did the henna...
However, at this point, its really not possible to remove the red. A
few of us here have debated the issue of whether oily treatments can
remove some of the dye. I don't think its terribly effective, but I
use a lot of oils in my hair, and I do believe it has faded the
colour a bit. Not a removal by any means, but you can try some hot
oil treatments or lots and lots of conditioning...still, I'd by lying
if I said it would make a substantial difference.
Someone else said, you may consider deepening the shade with further
henna applications, or else live with it for a while in the knowledge
that it will fade somewhat over the next weeks and months...sorry not
to be more helpful.
