Susan,

I don't know if this will work, but Light Mountain henna suggests if
you want to remove henna try mixing 1/2 cup of conditioner in with
one tub of Crystal Light Lemonade and applying the paste to your
hair. Cover your hair with a plastic cap and apply heat (like from a
blow dryer or sitting in the sun). Light Mountain says this may not
work on lighter hair, or curly hair, which is more porous than
straight hair, and that you need to do it within 24 hours of henna
application to get the best results.

For darker hair, they suggest equal parts molasses and baking soda
and shampooing out after mixture hardens.

For a more gradual removal they suggest high detergent shampoos.
