Hi there Dee!
I was the same. It was hard to give up on all the mixin'up potions
which I do so love to do, lol.
I have heard that Nicole Kidman uses Cranberry juice to rinse her
hair for colour. So it must impart colour. And it certainly is
acidic, so it should work just dandy. I've tried
the "cranberry/blackcurrant" variety, and got much the same result as
my red wine mix. I just used the off the shelf Ocean Spray kind, and
I don't know the wisdom of using something with all that sugar added,
but I've never seen an unsweetened version of cranberry juice (would
taste pretty nasty so I can't imagine that they sell it!, dunno)
How is your colour after 3 days? Is it still nice and bright? It
looked so pretty in the photo...
Let us know how the experiments go and if you check the archives,
there have been threads on cranberry juice before that might be of
help.
