Hi Jane,As Catherine mentioned, it's easier for women with darker hair to
cover up their greys and whites completely with the henna plus
indigo formula. prior to using indigo, i experimented with just
henna on my mom's hair--she is about 50% grey/white, and all those
hairs pretty much turned an unattractive orange. only the indigo
application made her hair turn all brownish/black and covered the
greys completely. i don't see how just henna by itself, no matter
what quality will turn white and grey hairs red completely. hope
