So, I guess to answer my own questions about the senna being a dye...it therefore doesn't have the same dying properties as henna or indigo do. It just made the water it was boiled in turn red. But I do believe that it must have some very special properties that are altogether different from the other two plants. Besides, it is a very attractive plant (I think) as well. I guess that I was just wondering out loud about these different plants mostly. Sorry for interrupting the main train of thought here!
