Can you tell us what sort of henna you used? It is very likely, if
it was from a box, that there was silver nitrate in the henna
(compound henna, rather than pure). If the colour promised was
anything besides RED, chances are it wasn't pure henna. Your hair is
likely reacting to whatever else was in the henna, rather than the
plant matter itself.
