It'll take a while to lighten it, but it should be safe. Do strand
tests once you have your hair lightened to some degree, but you
should be alright, especially with just the lemon juice.

I can't gaurentee this for anyone else, but I sucessfully highlight
my hair with a bleach/highlighting kit from Sally's beauty supply
over a year's worth of henna and have hennaed again since, and no
reactions yet. If you want some really nice contrast highlights, you
might want to look into it. My experience is somewhere in the
archives, from April.
