Black Henna from Rainbow Research

I have been dying my hair black for about a year. It's been 6
months since I used any commercial dye because I wanted to use
Henna. I bought Black Henna from Rainbow Research. It is all
natural and does not have any bad chemicals, but it doen't work. I
have tried it three times and my hair is still dark brown. I have
slightly grey hair too. It doesn't even touch that. I've tryed
heat, leaving it in for two hours, apple cider vinegar and so
forth. I was wondering if it would work if I bought indigo and
mixed it in with my henna or used my henna and used the indigo as
suggessed on this site. I am afraid to try either of these without
some advice as I don't want "blue" hair. The next thing I am
considering is trashing what I have and just buying the products
here. Trouble is I bought two pounds of it as I was very serious
about this and I have waist lenght hair. Thanks in advance.
