How long have you been using henna and what brand do you use?Several months. I buy it from Catherine. The cloves and lemon juice I buy locally. : 2. How long do you usually leave your henna on for? Anywhere from two hours to overnight. : 3. How often do you use henna? About once a month, sometimes with a touchup after two weeks. : 4. Do you still use a protein conditioner or protein deep : conditioning treatment? No. I use jojoba and shea butter and mix jojoba in the henna. : 5. What is your method for removing the henna from your hair? Do you : use shampoo, conditioner or just plain water? : Do you wash it out in the shower or sink? Plain water and a lot of combing. : 6. What benifits if any do you feel you get from henna? My hair is really soft and smooth. When it gets wet it smells really garofalous and pretty. Even when I sweat it smells a bit garofalous. I don't have to shampoo it; rinsing with warm water and fingercombing shea/jojoba is enough. Even my beard is soft; it has a lot less split ends and seems to be growing longer. My scalp itches a lot less. The red highlights are pretty.
