left most of them for 2 hours for the dye to release, some for three.

And how long should we leave it on for?

Did you approve of my idea of making enough for two strands, so that
the old one gets longer in total, or is that pointless since the old
one was a flop? Are we better off starting from scratch, doing two
strands but leaving the henna on each for different lengths of time,
and if so, how long would you recommend?
