henna question

ok, I was wondering if someone could help me with a little advice.
I've been doing alot of research before I do my first henna
experience. I want to henna my hair with indigo ,but i read its
better to henna your hair first,what color henna should i use before
i put in the indigo? so the indigo could take better.
