Sure you can use vinegar! Your hair will just...smell like vinegar.
Which, personally, doesn't sound like fun. My hennaed-hair smell is
usually gone after a week, and after 2 weeks it doesn't smell like
henna when it's wet, either. I don't know how long your hair would
still smell like vinegar, though.
