A discovery about henna from Rainbow Research

I got my samples yesterday and the indigo sample looks and smells
just like "Black Henna" from Rainbow Research. The sad thing about
this is that I called them and talked to them about my disapointment
in the coloring I got. I asked them if there was any indigo in the
product and they said absolutly not and not to add any to it either
as that would be dangerous. They said there was a lot of
misinformation on the internet and that their henna was a plant from
a different part of the world that was black. Yes, and the
misinformation is theirs! What I thought I had was henna with indigo
and it appears that I really have indigo. Since I can't send it
back, I might as well buy some real henna and experiment. I have
learned a lot from this board so I think I am ready to start trying
things.
