Senna question for ya..

So, can ya spruce up a senna mix like you would a henna mix? If
it's here somewhere, please, just redirect me. I haven't looked
around for the info, though I know there's been talk of senna going
around here lately.
I have a friend, who's naturally red, is thinking of lightening her
hair. Considering doing the 'lemon juice thang' It just got me
wondering about senna. As we know that would be wonderful for her
hair. I just didn't know if you can 'manipulate' a mix with that.
Like say, add tumeric for golden/yellowish shades? Or the like
