I can do dark, my hair is naturally pretty dark ... not black, but a dark : brown. Or at least it WAS :LOL ~ before the graying and hennaing. : : So I posted below, but in case you didn't see it ~ what "mix" did you use to get a : "black cherry" sort of color? : : I have the opposite perception, I see the curls whisping around in my peripheral : vision and am shocked "bright copper!" but then when I look in the mirror it's more of : a nice auburn. : : But no cherry-ish tone to mine, I don't think ... Mine is still closer to the copper hues. : : Kim My mix was: 210g henna mixed w/ 1 c wine and 1/2 c apple cider vinegar (boiled) Made that into a thick paste. Set 3 hr then got the consistency I needed using another 1 1/2 c cold wine and 1/2 c of the ac vinegar. That was my original mix. I had some of that left over from my first hennaing. I thawed that out, added some fresh henna and some red wine vinegar to get it thick and pastey again. Then thinned out as needed w/warm water Cover w/shower cap/towel, sat 2 hrs 2nd time (1hr first time) And my hair started out rather dark, naturally. Somewhere medium to dark brown. I still haven't found a good 'before' pic. Oh yeah...skin tone deal..um, I don't think I can go much darker OR redder. My second hennaing got me deeper rather than 'redder' so thats a good thing I think my complexion can handle darker better than it can redder...we'll see eh? Weird that you seem to have had the same starting color yet have come out more 'coppery' Keep me posted on your results ~T~
