Coffee has cafffien in it which can be absorbed through skin and
scalp, but it doens't seem to affect the colour of thwe henna one bit.

Cloves do seem to help darken the colour of the henna some, but they
have been known to irritate sensative skin (they give me a very mild
tingly burning sensation kind of like icy hot).

so..... cloves definately, but try a patch test behind the ear to
check for an adverse reaction.
