The instructions that came with Light Mountain (mix with hot water)
didn't work (I got no stain with the patch test). I added lemon juice
and tea tree oil and got a noticeable stain. But when I used CCJ's
henna I got a dye release I could see, which since I can't see red the
way most people do is saying something. It took two coats to get the
gray hairs in my sideburns dark enough.
