300g enough?

My friend is wanting to henna her hair soon. She has thick
hair...about like mine I'm thinking, only it's past her shoulders.
My hair was just above my shoulders and have done my hair twice
w/less than 300g...so, I'm thinking 300 will be sufficient for
her..what's your take?
She's dark brown/black w/ a few grays scattered about. Her grays
won't stand out crazy will they? I told her since they were single
hairs scattered throughout, it should blend in nicely, rather than
if she had patches..those could end up looking more like
chunks/streaks.
