Hi Magenta.

I've hennaed my hair twice. Natural color dark brown with a lot of gray. The grays all
went bright copper, so the overall effect was a deep copper. :)

I'm hennaing today with the henna and indigo mixed. We'll see what happens. I did
read that most people do it in one step, but since my hair was already henned twice, I
figure this is just a delayed 2nd step :) -- I have about 1/2" of roots showing gray
that will help me determine the mix vs. mix over henna, if that makes sense.

you can mix indigo with water, you want it *hot* enough to wet the powder and
release the dye.

Today as I'm applying them together I still mixed them separate (well, the henna was
thawed from leftovers) and didn't mix *together* them until I saw dye release from
both.

anyway, yes to what all Kimberly from BC said, you can indigo right away after if you
want, or because of the time involved some people wait a week or two and alternate
which they apply ...

I'll keep everyone posted on the results of my playing! :)

Kim
