Afterall, if I rememberwhat I've read on the related henna for body art site, ppd in "black henna" is illegal. It stands to reason that if it's so bad it's been deemed illegal for skin application, it is at least not so great for hair/(invariably)scalp application, and had no business being advertised as "safe and natural" and sold in a health food store. They should switch brands, easy enough to do, and advertise why they switched to draw in concerned customers. Win win situation. Just be gentle, and have documentation, and speak to the owner if possible, or manager at least. I have found that health food type stores are particularly eager to listen to their customers complaints, comments and advice, since they are less mainstream, and by nature cater to a smaller, more informed customer base, where the demand of a fewer number of people than regualar stores can have an inpact. Plus, hopefully, they care about their customer's well being and not just profit. PS: Thanks for recomending this site, Kim, it's AWSOME! Kudos to Catherine, what a resource!
