Will the green go away?depends on what caused the green cast, I think. if it was caused by something in the logona stuff reacting with something in your highlights, it may not go away if you henna over it. but if the green is caused by the indigo that is in logona's darker colours, you should be able to get rid of it by using henna (red). : I have very fine : hair, slightly past my shoulders... Is there any chance that the umber brown will stick : to my hair, covering the green? well, logona's umber brown is *not* henna (nor do they claim it to be), it's a mixture of different dye plants. see useful link below. I don't know what's in the umber brown shade exactly, - it could be a mix of henna and indigo, but I doubt there actually is any henna in it - in my experience, it doesn't have the slightest bit of red in it. it does probably contain indigo though - they do warn that you can get a greenish cast if you use it on lighter hair colours. which is something you get if you use indigo on light hair (indigo is blue, so it gives you green if there is some yellow in the hair colour). so, brown umber wouldn't be the right choice I think, it doesn't have enough red to counterbalance the green. to counterbalance the green, you can try going over it with just henna (logona's 'natural red' is just henna, I think). make sure to do a couple of strand tests to determine how long you should leave it on for - you probably don't want to leave it in too long, because that will give you red hair. or you can get one of logona's brown shades, but don't use black or brown umber, they're prone to green. good luck, iris
