Cassia obovata and nails

I was wondering, since henna dyes nails, and hair and nail is made of
the same stuff...anyone try applying cassia obovata to nails to make
them strong? I wonder what exactly the effect would be. Of course
you'd have to be sure to get the one without rhubarb mixed in, just
pure, or else it would dye your nails yellow I presume.
