Interesting results with pink dye

I have been going crazy on my hair lately. I bleached it, then
hennaed it, then dyed it magenta (and yes, its still healthy!). The
magenta was fadign but it was too soon to try henna on it again so I
did two turmeric rinses in it and now it is orange...crayola crayon
orange but with some gold and pink highlights. My head looks like a
marigold! Very pretty.
Its been a couple days and it shows no sign of going back to
magenta, so I think the chemical dye has made the turmeric semi-
permanent. Just thought I'd share for any other kitchen witch/funky-
haired people out there! For posterity, you know...
