Help with my kermit syndrome...please?

Hi, can someone help me decided where I went wrong... (hmmmm, may be
a long list to tackle...teehee) I bought some Light Mountain
Natural, Black and Dark Brown. I have used Dark brown several times
in the past with no problems. I decided to mix 6 tbs black with 6
tbs dark brown, some ginger and some nutmeg, with about 2 cups of
day old black (fresh ground style) cuban arabica coffee. Strand
test looked fine @ 24 minutes, so after that amount of time I washed
it out, only to find that I have a green tinge to my hair that was
more blonde. What went wrong? It's not easy being green, what
should I do now? Should I go over it with just the rest of the dark
brown? And water instead of coffee?
