Henna will tame the frizzies, make your hair sleek and soft. It's probably the best thing you can do to your hair. Chemical straightening has to be maintained more often than henna, and it's a chemical, to boot. Since I've been hennaing, I hardly use anything on my hair - I used to use anti-frizz serum, leave-in conditioner, shine balm, you name it. Now I don't need anything on it and my hair is soft and bouncy. Don't just take my word for it - check out anybody in the mixes section, or look through the forum - you'll hear "I love my hennaed hair" in so many different ways, you'll feel like slapping us all...LOL : Meg: : Thanks so much for the info. Where can I get mineral oil? Do u know : if the mineral oil would damage my hair if I tried using it to strip : the Henna from my hair? : : You see, I wish I would of just left my hair alone...I am pregnant : and I am only 30 years old and I had a few white hairs up front and I : didn't want to use any chemical dye on my hair while pregnant. So, I : decided to use the Henna. : : Now, I wish I wouldn't have because now after I have the baby, I : would like to get my hair cut shoulder length and get it straightened : so that I don't have such high maintance hair to do every morning. I : am getting tired of putting it in a pony tail and tired of seeing it : up all the time. I have natural curly hair and it it is a pain! I use : so many styling products on it just so it is not so frizzy. Anyway, : that all takes time to do each and every morning and I am afraid : after I have the baby, I am not going to want to go thru all that : every morning. : : That's why I am despert to find something to help me get this Henna : off my hair. So, you have heard that mineral oil does the trick? This : won't harm my hair will it? And how will I know that it worked? : : Thanks again for the help and for responding so quickly! You are a : sweetheart! : : Sincerely, : Nikkia
