I have obviously: misconstrued something I've read on the various sites I've been on, or : been misinformed on one of the sites. Anyway, is there a way to : increase the deposit of the henna colorant on hair? I'm thinking : change the pH (or is it Ph)? You can terp it; that brings more lawsone out of the henna cells and into the keratin. Terp is any of several essential oils with monoterpene alcohols, such as tea tree, lavender, rosewood, or leleshwa. Some say it doesn't do much on hair, but if you are getting faint color, it's worth a try - if you can stand the stuff around your lip!
