So your moustache is only getting the straight Lawsone: color and not oxidizing. I really don't know where to go with that : one ............. : : I wish I could look at your moustache hairs under the microscope and : see exactly how they're different from other hair. That IS quite interesting...I get the same result on my white head- hairs! And I never really thought about it, but yes it is as if the henna doesn't oxidise on those particular hairs. Other than the fact that white hairs on your head (and presumably everywhere else!) are devoid of pigment, I can't help but wonder if their makeup differs in any way? I know its held to be a myth, but I firmly believe that my white hairs are coarser, thicker and straighter than the rest. ( Or is it just that I NOTICE the white ones, and they happen to have been straighter, coarser coloured hairs once upon a time?!) But yes, brand new sparkly white hairs on my head turn a very unattractive yellow post henna and repeated hennas seem to never get beyond a translucent orange. Doesn't bode well for the future...
