Catherine: Question for you...Posted by Nikkia on July 6, 2004 at 22:54:29: Hi Catherine! I posted another question as well (how to remove Henna)if you could please look at that and comment on that as well. Thanks! Someone in this discussion forum wrote: "Cassia can make your hair beautifully silky and strong, but shouldn't really change your colour." Now, I have naturally thick, course, curly, brown hair and I was wondering if I used Henna again on my hair and mixed this Cassia Obovata or otherwise known as Senna Leaves in with the Henna, would it make my hair more silky and strong and repair my damaged, dry hair? That is my main goal...to REPAIR my damaged dry hair and have more beautiful, silky, frizz-free curls (I want hair that makes other girls say: "Wow, you've got such beautiful curly hair...how do you manage to keep it so frizz-free?" I am willing to cut out the chemical treatments provided by my stylist altogether and use Henna for the rest of my life, provided I can be sure I will get the results that I want; and that I explained upabove. Is there a recipe to follow which contains the Senna Leaves and Henna mixed together? If so, could you please provide that for me? Also, where whould I buy Senna Leaves at? I buy my Henna at an India Grocery Store, so I know I am getting quality Henna. I have a friend who is from India who now lives in the USA and she showed me how to use the Henna on my hair. Also, how often do YOU recommend using Henna on my hair to restore it back to becoming healthy again? Thanks so much for your help! You are a "Hair Saver" :)
