This is obviously not the colour we're getting out of : it. Henna only produces one colour stain: red-orange. Depending on : the base hair colour and how long the henna is left on the hair, the : resulting stain can be yellow-orange (as reported by a few henna- : heads with some white hairs that won't take) to black cherry (as : reported by a few henna-heads with dark hair to start). What you get : depends on the original shade and condition of your hair, unlike a : box of hairdye. On the plus side, the colour tends to be flattering : because it is in the same shade as the starting hair (my hair goes : from medium brown to a brilliant auburn, but in a black and white : picture it's still the same shade). : : also, is it : : possible to produce the right powder for hair if you have a henna : plant? : : IF the plant is 5 years old and you can grind the leaves to a : powder. However, you will not be able to harvest enough henna from a : single plant, as I understand it, to do your hair. : : : : : and for my final question I ask, when you put the henna in your : hair does it ver : : COMPLETELY come out? : : No I used a product called rainbow henna on my hair, and the label said it should be a sherry red. well, i put it on and waited about an hour and 15 min. to take it out, it cam out more over a copper orange, which is still cool looking. So basicly all hair henna is the same thing, its just the time you leave it on that make the ahir color? If so, how long would i have to keep it on if i wanted my hair to be the color of the hair on the main page in the second column all the way to the right? thanks
