Agar is a eh.. seaweed extract or "something", but full of proteins
and minerals and all that nice stuff. Or how about flax seed gel? Let
them soak in water and they "ooze" a thick gelatinous erm, ooze for
lack of a better term. As a bonus they are both, you know, natural.

I don't know about how easily to find in Sweden but in the states
they are both easily found at natural food stores or Asian markets.
And both are pretty cheap.

Sorry about the lack of specifics, my brain is low functioning on
this headache inducing day...
