I don't quite know how to tone down the red yet, I've beenexperimenting with that myself - but please do not waste your time or
your hair on the hennalucent stuff. I don't know what everyone else
might think about the stuff here, but my experience with it was
terrible, it covered poorly and unevenly, especcially to the parts
that were more porous - I really didn't like the results of the
product at all.
