Henna is henna and you're going to get a specific range locked onto the single Lawsone molecule. You're really not ever going to get far beyond that. The levels of Lawsone in one crop change the intensity of the color, but not the color itself. Have a look over at the link below to see where henna's grown commercially. Under similar conditions, henna's about equal. I carry 3 kinds in turn as harvests come in and they all get the same results (like apples from Washington, New Zealand and Argentina are all apples, but they're harvested at different times)
