Its certainly not impossible that indigo gives you trouble. Also, its
not impossible that the alkalinity of the partially fermented indigo
that I've got is giving you some trouble.

I was thinking of retesting to. I want to do this again in a couple
of weeks just worried. I thought I needed to add the juice for to for
it to work or make it better. I see what the outcome of retesting on
my inner are does. That’s what I think henna/indigo if I can use it
and water.
